Chickadee Therapy offers psychotherapy that focuses on helping you heal both emotionally and physically by working with your brain and nervous system. The practice specializes in helping people find relief from chronic pain and trauma using two main approaches: Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), which helps people reduce or overcome chronic pain by retraining the brain, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which helps the brain process and heal from past trauma.
These therapies are based on the latest neuroscience and are designed to get to the root of what’s going on—not just manage symptoms. In addition to PRT and EMDR, Chickadee Therapy also draws from a variety of other approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT, always tailored to your unique needs. The therapy is flexible, trauma-informed, and focused on supporting you in feeling better, both in body and mind.
